Pat M. –
Between my hubby (armchair sleuth) and me (mystery writer) a good, twisty-turny game is hard to find. We tried one through Hunt a Killer, which was okay but we finished it in about 5 hours total. The cipher is the only thing that made it last longer. Annnnnddddd it was dumb.
So, coming upon this one, we decided to try it, and we have spent DAYS working on it. It’s been about a week, we work on it about an hour a day. Because we don’t want to destroy the ‘originals,’ we made copies of the pictures and clues and have them tacked to a large ‘murder board.’ aka corkboard.
We’ve decided to not go for any clues and we believe we have it solved, but one last look over forensics to make sure… then we’ll head for the solution and see if we are right.
I might add, if you are ‘called in’ as the detective to work the homicide (as in, you buy this game), go to the crime scene first as you would any other homicide. Then open up the rest of the files.
