The Legendary “Hot Rod” gets a two disk DvD set of unreleased matches and segments from “Pipers Pit”. The truth is its an uneven, and slightly disappointing set. The first disk is fine, with some decent matches and builds up nicely. But, the second set is pretty uneven, and disappointing. The few matches there are on the second disk are poor, and it’s clear by the latter stages of his career “Hot Rod” was becoming just a gimmick. In truth the second disk is mainly chat chat chat, and nothing really interesting at all. Surely like the other unreleased DvD’s featuring the likes of Hogan, Savage, Hart and Michaels there must be a huge back catalogue of Roddy Piper matches that are in the WWE vaults and could have been on a third disk. Love and respect to Roddy Piper, but god, he deserved better than this interesting, yet average DVD release.

A very good dvd with unreleased matches of The Hot Rod, Roddy Piper a Legend in WWE, the piper´s pit was legendary ! Anyway i think this should have been a 3 dvd set! Other than that really good dvd!
